Privacy policy
Written plainly, because a policy a parent cannot read is not a policy.
Nuṛ collects no data. None.
- No account, no sign-up, no login, no email address asked for.
- No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no profiles.
- No outside companies in the app. No third-party code of any kind.
- Nuṛ sends nothing to us or to anyone else. Every page, font and sound is already inside the app.
- Nothing is collected, so nothing is stored on a server, shared or sold.
Who this is
Who we are
Nuṛ is an iPhone coloring book made by Artifex Innovations LLC. This policy covers the Nuṛ app and these pages. Questions about it go to [email protected].
Accounts
There is no account
Nuṛ has no sign-up screen and no sign-in screen. It never asks for a name, an email address, a birthday, a phone number, a photo or a location. It does not connect to a social network. There is no profile of your child anywhere, because there is nothing that could hold one.
Information
What we collect
Nothing. Not personal information, not contacts, not the photo library, not location, not the device identifier, not what is colored, not how long the app is open, not whether it is opened at all.
There is no analytics tool in Nuṛ, no crash reporting service, no advertising network, no marketing tool and no software development kit from another company. Nuṛ is written by us and it talks to nobody.
On the device
What stays on the iPhone
Some things have to be remembered for the app to work, and all of them stay on the iPhone where they were made:
- Which pages have been colored, and which colors went where.
- Favorites and finished artwork.
- Recently used colors.
- Settings, such as sound, motion and Kid Mode.
None of it leaves the device and none of it reaches us. Deleting the app removes it. Pictures already saved to your photo library are yours and stay there.
Network
The app does not go online
Nuṛ makes no network requests of its own. There is no server behind it. Artwork, fonts and sounds ship inside the app, which is also why it works with no signal at all, on a plane or in a car.
Two things do involve the outside world, and both are worth naming:
- Buying or restoring Nuṛ Plus. That is handled by Apple. iOS speaks to the App Store on the device's behalf and tells Nuṛ only whether a subscription is active. Apple's own privacy policy governs that exchange.
- Links a grown-up chooses to open. Tapping a link, always behind the grown-up check, leaves Nuṛ and opens Safari, where Apple's and the destination's rules apply instead of ours.
Photos
Your photo library
When a grown-up saves a finished page, iOS asks permission to add it to your photos. Nuṛ asks for permission to add only. It cannot see, open, read, or send the photos already on the iPhone, and it never asks to. If the answer is no, the rest of the app carries on as normal.
Purchases
Subscriptions
Nuṛ Plus is an auto-renewing subscription sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. Payment details go to Apple and never pass through Nuṛ. We do not see a card number, a billing address or a name, and we receive no personal information about who subscribed.
Managing or cancelling a subscription happens in your Apple Account. The steps are on the support page.
Children
Children's privacy
Nuṛ is built for families, and children are expected to use it. That is exactly why it collects nothing.
Because no information is collected from anyone, no information is collected from children either. There is nothing to store, nothing to share with a third party, nothing to sell, and nothing that could be used to advertise to a child. There is no behavioural advertising in Nuṛ, no advertising at all, no in-app messaging, no links to social networks and no way for a child to send anything out of the app.
Buying anything and following any link outside the app both require a grown-up check first: press and hold, then answer a question written out in words. Kid Mode removes the store from view entirely.
This is our commitment under children's privacy laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act in the United States and the equivalent protections for children elsewhere. A parent has no data to review, correct or delete here, because none was ever taken. If a parent wants to be sure of that, write to us and ask.
Sharing
Sharing and selling
We do not share, rent, trade or sell information about you or your child, because we do not have any. There is no advertising partner, no data broker, no analytics vendor and no marketing list.
Your rights
Your choices
Since we hold no information about you, there is nothing to request a copy of, nothing to correct and nothing to ask us to delete. Everything the app remembers lives on the iPhone and is removed by deleting the app.
If you write to us at [email protected], your message sits in our email account so we can answer it. We use it for that and nothing else. It is never added to a mailing list, never used for advertising and never passed to anyone. Ask us to delete the exchange when it is finished and we will.
Changes
If this policy changes
Any change is posted on this page. If a future version of Nuṛ ever needed to collect something, this page would say so plainly and in advance, and the app would ask first. Today it collects nothing.

A parent who wants to check any of this is welcome to. The short answer will always be the same one: Nuṛ does not collect data.
