It helps to include which iPhone you are using, which version of iOS it is running, and what happened just before the trouble started. A screenshot is worth a paragraph.

For grown-ups

The grown-up check

Anything that costs money or leaves the app sits behind a check that a young child cannot pass on their own. It appears before buying, before restoring a purchase, before sharing a picture out of the app, and before the settings that belong to a parent.

  1. Press and hold the button for three seconds.
  2. Answer a multiplication question, written out in words rather than digits, so it cannot be matched by sight.
  3. Three wrong answers close the check for a minute. Closing the app or reopening it does not hand back fresh tries.

Kid Mode goes further and hides the store entirely, so a child never sees a price, a lock badge or a link out of the app. It is on by default. A grown-up can still reach everything: in the app, open Profile, then Settings, then For grown-ups, and pass the check.

What you get

What is free, what is Nuṛ Plus

Free, always

  • 40+ pages to color, with no time limit on them.
  • Every letter of the Armenian alphabet, all of them, free.
  • Colors, all four fill styles, erase and undo, on every page.
  • Every page you finish, kept in the app under Profile, then My works.
  • Saving a picture to your photos, where the page offers it, with a small Nuṛ mark on it.

Nuṛ Plus

  • All 100+ pages open, and new ones as they arrive.
  • Gold-leaf color, with a sheen that moves as it catches the light.
  • Saved pictures keep the art alone, without the Nuṛ mark.

Nuṛ Plus is a subscription handled by the App Store. The price for your country is shown there before anything is bought, and it renews until it is cancelled.

Purchases

Restore a purchase

If you subscribed before, on this iPhone or another one, bring it back:

  1. Make sure the iPhone is signed in to the same Apple Account that paid.
  2. Open Nuṛ, go to Profile, then Settings.
  3. Tap For grown-ups and pass the grown-up check.
  4. Tap Restore purchases.

Nuṛ has no accounts and no passwords, so this is the only thing that needs restoring, and Apple does the checking.

Purchases

Manage or cancel a subscription

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us, so cancelling happens in your Apple Account rather than inside Nuṛ.

  1. Open the Settings app on the iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Nuṛ.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription, then confirm.

You can also start from inside the app: Profile, then Settings, then Manage subscription, which opens Apple's own panel.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the time already paid for, so Nuṛ Plus keeps working until the end of the period you are in.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, or Apple may already have charged for the next one. If you started with a free trial, the same 24 hours applies before it ends.

If there is no Cancel Subscription button, the subscription is already cancelled and will not renew.

Purchases

Refunds

Apple takes the payment, so Apple handles refunds. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account that paid. We are glad to help you word it, but the decision is Apple's.

Pictures

Saving pictures

Some pages can be saved to your photos and some cannot yet. Where the option is not there, nothing is lost: every page you finish is kept in the app, under Profile, then My works, exactly as it was left.

The first time a grown-up saves a finished page, iOS asks whether Nuṛ may add to your photos. Nuṛ asks only for permission to add. It cannot see, open or read the photos already on the iPhone, and it never asks to.

If the answer was no and you would like to change it, open the Settings app, find Nuṛ in the list of apps, tap Photos, and choose Add Photos Only.

Your artwork

Where the artwork lives

Colored pages, favorites and settings stay on the iPhone they were made on. There is no account, so there is nothing to log in to and nothing waiting on a server somewhere.

That has one honest consequence: deleting Nuṛ deletes the pages in progress with it. Anything saved to your photos is yours and stays in your photo library. A picture you want to keep is worth saving before the app goes.

Settings

Sound, motion and Kid Mode

In the app, open Profile and then Settings:

  • Haptic feedback and Tap sounds can be turned off for a silent, still coloring session.
  • Reduce motion calms the animations. Nuṛ also follows the iPhone's own Reduce Motion setting on its own.
  • Auto-save my works keeps every page where you left it.
  • Kid Mode hides the store and outside links. Turning it on or off needs the grown-up check, in both directions.

Trouble

If something is not working

A small shape will not take the color

Tap a little further inside the shape. A tap that lands on a black line does nothing on purpose, so the lines stay clean. On the pages that zoom, pinching makes the shape bigger, and a magnifier appears while a finger is down to show exactly what is under it.

The picture did not save

Check that Nuṛ is allowed to add to your photos, as above, and that there is free space on the iPhone. If a page offers no way to save, that is not a fault on your iPhone: the finished page is kept in the app, under Profile, then My works.

Nuṛ Plus is not showing after paying

Run Restore purchases as above, on the iPhone signed in to the Apple Account that paid. If it still does not appear, write to us with the date of the purchase and we will help.

Something else

Close Nuṛ completely and open it again. Your pages are saved as you color, so nothing is lost by doing it. If the trouble comes back, tell us about it at [email protected].
